Six Pea is a market garden owned and operated by the Pannell family just outside of Sherwood, Oregon.
From May to September the garden is home to a wide variety of produce such as strawberries, peas, garlic, cucumbers, tomatos, corn and pumpkins. From October to April, the garden relies largely on cover crops, mother nature and a small flock of chickens to keep everything in order until the next produce growing season arrives.
While the garden is home to a mix of vegetables and berries, its current emphasis is on a number of uncommon and heirloom tomato varieties including Italian, Yellow Stuffing, Ruth's Perfect, Thessaloniki and Black Cherry.
